Award winning breakfast
At Woodlands Country House we realise that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. We take great pride in the food we serve to all of our visitors and have won awards for doing so. When you start your day wether you are planning to laze on the beaches of Cornwall, go off on a trek around Padstow or tackle a day of business meetings, whatever it is you plan to do we want you to start with a full stomach and a smile.
Breakfast is served from
8am-9.30am Mon-Sat and 8.30am-10am on Sundays
As well as our regular breakfast we also have a variety of Special Breakfasts and for the alfresco lovers exploring Padstow or the rest of Cornwall we have picnic baskets available on request.
As far as possible, your breakfast is sourced locally or within the South West. We only use the best quality products - local does not necessarily mean good quality! But we do have some wonderful local suppliers.
Some of the food you will enjoy during your stay is homemade at Woodlands Country House. This includes;
- The marmalade, jams and preserves.
- Muesli and Granola
- Fruit Compote
- Orange & Rosemary salad.
- Marmalade Muesli Bars, Madeleines, Banana Bread Brioche, Blueberry Scones, Raspberry Muffins
(all ‘nimbly’ things on the breakfast buffet table)
- English Muffins
- Potato cakes.
- Hollandaise sauce,
- Rancheros Tomato Sauce, Kipper Butter,
- Beurre Colbert Fish cakes and Smoked Fish cakes
- Vegetarian Sausages and Toulouse‐style Sausage (Corbet)
- Home air‐dried Tamworth ham.
