Trains run out of Paddington Station quite regularly, direct to Bodmin - Parkway. It is a four to five hour journey via Exeter. It is then an hour and twenty minute bus ride to Padstow on a No. 55 bus, departing 25 minutes past each hour during the day - arriving at Padstow just over an hour later.

There is a bus service that runs to Padstow; a single fare is about £3.40.
There are taxis that will bring you directly to Woodlands Country House costing about £25.00 taking about 45 minutes.
There are two mooring areas - Rock and Padstow Harbour. The mooring fees in the all-weather, all-year-round, Padstow harbour is about £1.50 per meter per night (£9.00 for a week) and no restriction of length (unless you are a battleship!) Access to the harbour is 2 hours either side if high water.
In Rock the moorings dry out at low water and moorings are restricted to a maximum length of 10 meters (30 feet). Mooring fees range from £48 to £72 per week depending on size of craft, moorings are not available in-between November and April in Rock. For a similar price you can moor up on Commissioner’s Quay in Wadebridge – You can not moor with fin keels at Rock or Wadebridge!
